Our product’s test procedures are all created in-house by Calnex’s engineers. These range from simple impedance measurements prior to board turn-on, all the way to more complex functional performance tests. Our structural test process is based on JTAG Technologies JTAG/Boundary-scan tests for individual boards and for the combination of boards that comprise a complete system (instrument). The test procedures are trialled on prototype boards and then passed on to our contract manufacturer for incorporation into their process.

In theory, there are alternatives for boundary-scan, but for me, they don’t come close.
