SCIL modules

SCIL modules comprise a range of pre-programmed pods that take the place of a regular TAP pod (JT 2149) within the DataBlaster's QuadPod system. Based on the JT 2149/MPV DIOS modules (32 bits of general purpose I/O) SCIL modules can support an array of logic functions.

Currently available for enhancing test coverage are counter/timer and pattern generator/comparator SCIL modules. Other SCIL modules, known as 'protocol engines' are usually used in tandem with a SCIP software module for in-system programming purposes. SCIP/SCIL combinations are often used for programming Freescale parts via BDM, and Mono8 interfaces plus SPI, I2C, and Microchip custom one-wire protocols are also supported.

Further SCIL module functions can be developed upon request, simply contact your local sales office or complete the on-line enquiry form.
