Rugged, dependable, fast: boundary-scan controllers
All of our hardware controllers are designed by us and built to our specifications in an ISO9000-certified factory. (And all are fully tested with boundary-scan.) Our controllers have amassed an excellent record of reliability in mission-critical applications. The DataBlaster JT 37x7 series is available in three application levels; 3707, 3717 and 3727 and a wide variety of modern form factors designed to meet the needs of every test development lab and production line:
- JT 37x7/TSI: Triple-serial interface with USB (1.1 and 2.0), Ethernet and Firewire connectivity
- JT 37x7/PCI: Plug-in for PC installations
- JT 37x7/PCIe: Plug-in for PC installations using the PCI Express format
- JT 37x7/PXI: 3U form factor for PXI-based test systems
All of the DataBlasters run at a 40 MHz sustained TCK rate, and are equipped with our 4-TAP QuadPOD featuring high signal integrity, four spare I/Os, and individually programmed voltage-levels.

Besides the Data Blasters, you can choose the economic Explorer JT 3705 for less demanding performance requirements. The JT 3705 / USB provides two TAPs with programmable voltage levels, interfaces to the PC's USB port, and runs at a TCK rate of up to 6 MHz. TAPs can be synchronized for test purposes and are suitable for running a complete battery of board tests including IEEE 1149.1, 1149.4, and 1149.6 as well as PLD programming and low-volume flash programming. The original version of the JT 3705, which provides two TAPs and interfaces to the PC's parallel port, is also available.
